Fast Track Courses

The fast track course runs twice a year, one starts at the end of March and the other starts at the end of October. The course content is the same as the full time and part-time course and successful trainees will be awarded the Trinity College TESOL certificate. This course varies in length. The course which starts in October is normally a seven week programme so trainees complete before Christmas. The course which starts in March is normally an eight week programme. Both courses are intensive and trainees need to limit their commitments for the duration of the programme.

This course is held at Woking College and is suitable for people who would like to obtain their certificate in a relatively short period of time but feel the full time course would be too intensive.

It starts with three intensive days, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. After that trainees will attend on either Tuesday evening 6.00pm to 9.30pm or Friday morning 10.00am to 1.30pm plus every Monday all day and most Saturdays all day.

There are six hours of teaching practice, some of which will be timetabled on the Mondays you are scheduled to attend college. This means therefore, that you will need to attend some extra teaching practice sessions on a Wednesday. Dates will be given on the first day of the course for you to choose from.
